   I used to work at a GNC (a second job to pay for my wedding) and would routinely sell this stuff. It never stopped surprising me how many people would come in and want something to make them lose weight without actually putting out any effort. I tried to explain exactly how the stuff worked and why it was probably not the best idea to take a pill that raises your body temperature and heart rate like that, but people didn’t care. In this culture, people will put being "pretty" far above any risk to their own health. The thing that sucked the most was that MuscleTech paid very nice commissions on their products. It was always a choice between trying to help people make healthy decisions or getting that $6.00 commission I got off a bottle of Hydroxycut Hardcore. One problem with this recall is that, for every Hydroxycut out there, there are 50 other nearly identical products on the shelf right next to it, and they are most likely all just as bad. Look into Yohimbe extract sometime.
